-For your eyeshadow smoky topaz color. It's golden, yet a little darker. If not, try an amethyst color. Try wearing them both for the best look.
-For your mascara, go with the classic black color. It will be too overdone with any other color.
-Your eyeliner would look nice either gold or black. The gold is more glam, but the black will make your eyeshadow shade pop out.
I hope I helped you! Have a great time at your prom, with any makeup you wear, you'll probably look awesome!Purple prom dress...what makeup?
hm, I would say to start off with a light base if you are going to use any foundation, concealer, and such.
as well, try to not do so much of a heavy face as a subtle make-up look.
try to do, if not, a thin layer of eyeliner right above the lashes. any color works, yet try not to go with jet black. even a soft, nuded brown would work if your lashes were slightly lighter or if your skin town is pale.
as well, try to make your mascara not long but defined so that your lashes are curled and such
dont forget that shadow accents your eyes, so use a nude color that pops. for brown eyes, its olive. for green eyes, its pink. for blue eyes, try a bronze. as well, for hazel, try a gold or just a shimmer.
if you are going to have gold shoes and accesories, try not to use gold on your makeup
Since you have a bold color on your dress already i dont suggest going too bold on the eyes unless its a soft smokey eye. Because you already have gold shoes and accessories i advice not to use gold on your eyes. you dont want to match everything you want something to look good while standing out. a softer look would look best with some type of nude lip. enhance your look with MAC mineralize skin finish, soft tho, dont go over with it either. I think a soft smokey eye would look best. if you are not into that then a smokey black liner MAC eye khol and a soft dark gray eye shadow blending to a soft subtle look with a blending brush. Dont do a purple eye either, for mascara i recommend MAC zoom lash
i say you try dark eyes, since your dress is quite bright.
go for smokey golden, gray, charcoal tones and apply them darker at the tips of your eyes and lighter at the top.
put on black eyeliner, again heavier at the ends and lighter all around the eye (top and bottom)
put on a couple coats of black mascara and your good to go.
I would go with the original black eyeliner and mascara, and I think a gold tint of eyeshadow would look good. Also, some pink blush would look cute too.

okay black mascara
gold eyeshadow
and the eyeliner watever
gold eyeshadow wit purple blended into it
A black smokey eye would look really nice.
That's what I think. :)
